DataHaven has created comprehensive well-being indices to support the work of government, philanthropy, and major hospitals throughout Connecticut. Choose from the menus below to select a hospital encounter type, a social indicator, or a composite index of questions from the DataHaven Community Wellbeing Survey. Contact us with any questions.
Selected data may be mapped by town, zip code, or region. Clicking on an area on the map gives a popup of that value. You may also select hospital service areas you would like to focus on. Only selected towns, zip codes, and regions are shown here, based on the availability and reliability of estimates for small areas. DataHaven analysis of hospital encounter data was only available for certain towns and zip codes, while other data are available for towns statewide or by region.
The indices, and this website, also serve as a component of the community health needs assessment (CHNA) for Bridgeport Hospital, Danbury Hospital, Greenwich Hospital, Norwalk Hospital, St. Vincent’s Medical Center, and Stamford Hospital in Fairfield County, and for Milford Hospital and Yale New Haven Hospital in Greater New Haven.

Index scores are based on composites of DataHaven Community Wellbeing Survey items.
